Finnish veteran Jari Litmanen has joined Hansa Rostock in the German Bundesliga.
The 33-year-old signed a contract to June 2006.
“It’s a big chellenge,” he told the club website.
Litmanen won the European Cup, Intercontinental Cup and four Dutch titles with Ajax from 1992 to 1999 when he joined Barcelona. He also enjoyed a spell a t Liverpool before returning to Ajax. He played for his former Finnish club Lahti last year.
