The rumours just won’t go away and the price of John Terry joining big-spending Manchester City is ever shortening – do you think Mr. Chelsea will go sky-blue?

Lyon have confirmed that they have agreed terms with Porto for defender Aly Cissokho.

The French full-back was on the verge of joining Milan earlier in the summer before the deal fell through due to medical problems relating to his teeth.

The Serie A side wanted to change the deal to a loan move, but Lyon have now stepped in and have had their offer accepted.

Marino Faccioli, Lyon general directo told French radio station RMC: “Porto have asked for 15million euros, and this is the offer we have made for the youngster.

“He is only 21 years old with a great future. If president Pinto (da Costa) does not go against his word the player will be with Lyon next season.”

If Cissokho does join, he will follow in the footsteps of Porto team-mate Lisandro Lopez, who joined Lyon for €24million at the weekend.
