Avram Grant has 3 games to save his job and the bookmakers have him odds-on favourite to go next

Lyon have denied a report in France suggesting they intend to sack boss Claude Puel.

Lyon have climbed to third in the Ligue 1 standings on the back of a ten-match unbeaten run.

However, French website www.le10sport.com has speculated that Puel’s days at the club could be numbered.

A report on Thursday claimed that former Milan coach, Leonardo, was being lined up as a summer replacement, but Lyon have moved quickly to dispel the speculation.

“Olympique Lyonnais denies strongly information published today by Le 10 Sport on the future of Claude Puel at Lyon,” read a statement on the club’s official website.

“The club would like a little more serenity from the media for the next two games in this very important end to the first half of the season that has seen the club back among the title candidates and qualify for the eighth consecutive time for the last 16 of the Champions League.”
