Lyon striker Karim Benzema will cost a world-record €100million transfer fee.
The French champions have put this price on the 20-year-old’s head as they seek to fend off a host of top clubs linked with the French international.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says any clubs interested in signing Benzema will have to come up a record amount.
“We have signed a contract with him until 2013, with a get-out clause of 100million euros,” said Aulas, adding that Benzema is an integral part of their bid to progress beyond the last 16 of the Champions League.
