Lazio coach Roberto Mancini has dismissed suggestions that he is contemplating leaving the club.
Mancini was reported to be considering his at Lazio position following a poor run of form from his team and there were even claims that he might wish to pursue his management career in Spain. However, Mancini has ruled out a move.
“It is foolishness,” he said.
“I’ve never thought to leave.
“At this moment I am happy to be at Lazio and have the players I do at my disposal.
“I’m flattered that someone thinks of me in Spain – but my thoughts belong exclusively to Lazio.
“It has been a difficult few games, but this is the moment we need to start playing with pride.”
