The agent of Roberto Mancini has confirmed his client would relish the opportunity to work in the Premier League.

The Italian has been out of work since leaving Inter over the summer and has been linked with a number of vacancies, the most recent of which was at West Ham, where he is seen as a potential successor to Alan Curbishley who departed the London club earlier this week.

With Gianluca Nani currently employed as sporting director at Upton Park, the appointment of an Italian manager appears to be a possibility.

“Roberto doesn’t want to talk to any other club until he has sorted out his contract situation with Inter because that’s the way he works,” Giorgio De Giorgis told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“But Mancini really likes England and London in particular – that is something that he has never denied.”
