American striker Clint Mathis signed a contract until June 2006 with Bundesliga club Hannover 96.
Mathis scored 33 goals in four years with MLS’ MetroStars. He has 11 goals in 34 games for the U.S. national team.
Hannover lie 11th in the 18-team German league.
