Middlesbrough have signed Egyptian international midfielder Mohamed Shawky.
The Ahly player impressed during a training stint over the past few days and manager Gareth Southgate has signed the player for £650,000.
The midfielder, who has 42 caps, is Southgate’s second Egyptian signing following the arrival of striker Mido from Tottenham.
