Milan are interested in signing Roma defender Philippe Mexes this summer, with Il Corriere Dello Sport claiming that a deal had already been agreed.
Mexes’ future has been the subject of speculation for some time as he has refused to sign a new contract with Roma.
His current deal expires in the summer and the Rossoneri could sign him on a free transfer should that situation remain unchanged.
“If Mexes does not renew his contract with Roma, we are interested in the player,” Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani telling Gazzetta dello Sport.
Reports in Italy claim that Mexes, 28, has already agreed a €4 million-a-year deal with Milan.
