Milan are keen to sign Spain’s international defender Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid, according to Marca .

“Milan wants Sergio Ramos… and coach, Carlo Ancelotti, is pushing hard to get” him, the paper said.

Marca said that league leaders Real Madrid could be interested discussing a transfer and they might be tempted by a swap deal involving long-term target Kaka.

The Spanish club has been trying to lure the Brazilian from Milan and could be interested in some form of exchange with Ramos, who has impressed since arriving at Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005.

However, Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said last month that the European Champions would not consider selling Kaka.
