Internazionale president Massimo Moratti has tipped striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to win the Golden Ball award for his performances this season.
The Swedish striker has scored 15 league goals for the Nerazzurri this campaign as Inter have run away with the Serie A title.
“He is a sensational player and he’s decisive in each match,” Moratti said about the player he paid over £16million for.
“Let’s hope he will continue in this way, because he would deserve a similar award.”
Moratti is adamant that the league is not yet in the bag despite being 18 points clear at the top.
“Surely the match against Roma will be important, because they continue to play in a good way,” he said.
Inter are still unbeaten in Serie A this season and the president wants his side go through the entire season without losing.
“We must continue with this professionality, and with this pleasure, because it seems to me that players enjoy themselves when they play,” he added.
