Chelsea have not been in contact with Jose Mourinho to discuss him becoming the club’s next manager, the Porto coach has revealed.

“There’s been no contact from Chelsea,” Mourinho said after his side’s goalless draw at home to Deportivo Coruna in the their Champions League semi-final.

“I’m just interested in getting to the final of the Champions League.

“I want to win our next league game (at home to Alverca on Sunday) to take the title and go on to Gelsenkirchen (where the Champions League final will be played).”

Asked if Chelsea had been in contact with his agent, Mourinho replied: “I have no agent.”

Reports circulating England suggested Mourinho was scheduled to meet Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and the club’s chief executive Peter Kenyon, but the meeting was cancelled at short notice.

Mourinho has emerged as one of the most respected coaches in Europe after guiding Porto to victory in the UEFA Cup last season and the semi-finals of the Champions League this season.
