Alessandro Nesta has revealed that he will be finishing his career with Milan.

The former Lazio defender has been with Milan for five years and he admits he will finish his playing career with them before retiring back to his native Rome.

“I will end my career here, then I will go back home,” he told Sky Italia.

Nesta, who has won just about every trophy in the game, wants to secure a World Club title – which will be played in Japan later this year.

“I want to win the World Club cup, we must take that trophy home,” he emphasised.

Nesta also admitted that he had no regrets about retiring from the Italian national team.

“I had a choice, I just arrived at a point where I had to think about my career,” he explained.
