Neven Subotic’s agent has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.

Reports on Wednesday suggested Arsenal were lining up a move for the Borussia Dortmund defender as they look to fill the void left by Kolo Toure’s departure to Manchester City.

Subotic is highly regarded and Everton were also reported to be interested in the 20-year-old Serb earlier this summer.

However, his agent, Stephen Kelly, insists he has not heard from Arsenal and that Dortmund have informed him that they have received no enquiry for Subotic.

“There is nothing in the reports linking Neven with Arsenal,” Kelly told Sky Sports.

“I don’t know where this has all come from.

“He only recently signed a new five-year deal at Dortmund and it would take big money for any move to happen.

“I have had no contact with Arsenal and I have spoken to Dortmund and they have told me that they have had no contact with Arsenal whatsoever.”
