Hans Meyer has been appointed coach at Bundesliga side Nuremberg.
Meyer has come out of retirement and agreed a contract running to the end of the season.
Meyer, who has huge experience of coaching in the Bundesliga, left his last coaching post at Hertha Berlin at the end of the 2003-04 season, saying the job would be his last.
Nuremberg are three points adrift at the bottom of the Bundesliga. They sacked coach Wolfgang Wolf last week.
