Palermo have reappointed Stefano Colantuono as the club’s coach following the sacking of Francesco Guidolin.
Guidolin was fired following Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Genoa which saw Palermo slip to 12th in the Serie A table.
It was a fifth game without a win for Palermo, whose president Maurizio Zamparini had been critical of Guidolin after last week’s 2-1 defeat at Parma.
Zamparini has now replaced Guidolin, who was in his fourth spell at the club, with Colantuono.
Palermo had started the season with Colantuono as coach, but he was fired and Guidolin installed in his place in late November after a 5-0 defeat by Juventus.
