Lyon coach Alain Perrin has confirmed he is interested in signing Arsenal’s Jose Antonio Reyes.
The Spaniard recently finished a season-long loan at Real Madrid and hopes to remain at the Bernabeu on a permanent deal, but the Spanish club have yet to make a concrete offer.
Perrin is still in need of another attacker ahead of the new season and believes Reyes would be an ideal addition to his squad.
“I would sign Reyes of course,” he told L’Equipe.
“Moreover, he can play in attack or as a midfielder on either flank.
“If I want to play 4-4-2, we miss an attacker.
“It would be interesting if a player of that level joins us.”
