Ruslan Pimenov has sustained knee ligament damage and will be out of action for at least two months.

The injury occurred lat week while training with the Russia national squad.

“The injury is quite serious; he damaged his meniscus as well as the interior ligaments,” said Lokomotiv team doctor Savely Myshalov.

“He is going to have surgery, so he won’t come back until late May at the earliest.”

Pimenov will miss Russia’s visit to Georgia on 30 April, and is a doubt for the visit toSwitzerland on 7 June.
