Porto’s Champions League hopes have been dealt a massive blow with the news that prolific striker Derlei could miss the rest of the season.
The Brazilian suffered a painful knee injury a during Porto’s 2-1 win against Alverca. It has been confirmed that the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee has been damaged, which all but rules him out for the remainder of the campaign.
Porto will look to sign a replacement when the transfer window opens in January.
