Portsmouth have signed Charlton defender Djimi Traore for £1m on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Traore joined struggling Charlton in the summer from Liverpool for £2m, but his form has been disappointing since his arrival in London.
Traore was a member of Liverpool’s side which beat Milan to win the Champions League in 2005 and made 160 appearances for the Reds.
