Paris Saint Germain yesterday agreed to release Portuguese international Hugo Leal from his contract.
According to Portuguese sports paper ‘O Jogo’, the player has agreed to forfeit the remainder of his wages, around 150,000 Euros in order to leave straight away.
The only stumbling block to his release was the player’s image rights, for which Hugo Leal demanded payment. PSG wanted him to rescind this request, but it is understood that a compromise was reached yesterday morning.
It appears likely that the creative midfield player will head back to Spain or Portugal.
