Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven are said to be interested in signing Roda JC full-back Predrag Filipovic.

Following the recent departures of Wilfred Bouma and Lee-Young Pyo, combined with injuries to new signings Michael Reiziger and Michael Ball, coach Guus Hiddink is in desperate need of a good quality left back, and sees the 30-year-old Serb as the ideal candidate to fill the void.

As Dutch clubs are allowed two domestic signings outside the transfer window, PSV could launch a bid for the player as early as next week. Hiddink’s preference is for a 3-6 month loan deal, and Roda’s board are, reportedly, amenable to the idea.
