Uruguay coach Victor Pua is believed to have offered his resignationafter his side crashed out of the World Cup.
The South Americans drew 3-3 in a dramtaic match earlier today but the point was not enough to send them through to the knock out stages.
Pua saw his side come from three goals down at half-time and nearly pull off a remarkable victory as Richard Morales missed a last-minute chance that could have secured qualification.
However, Uruguay ended the competition with no victories and third place in their group finishing above holders France, with whom they drew last week.
