Ivan Rakitic’s agent has insisted that his client will stay at Schalke player, amid speculation that Everton are interested in signing the midfielder.
The 21-year-old was recently linked with a move to Goodison Park, as the Bundesliga club look to ease their current financial plight.
However, Rakitic’s representative, Max Urscheler, insists that he is unaware of any interest from Everton.
“Ivan has a contract with Schalke until 2011 and he remains a Schalke player,” Urscheler told Sky Sports.
“I have heard about the reports of a possible move away, but I think it is just rumours.
“There has been no official demand to Schalke and there have been no offers from what we know.
