Martin O’Neill and Aston Villa make the trip to Bulgaria this Thursday as they continue their UEFA Cup campaign against Litex Lovech.

Real Madrid sports director Predrag Mijatovic is confident Raul will rediscover his best form.

The striker has had a quiet start to the season and was virtually anonymous in the 2-0 victory over BATE Borisov in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Raul was criticised by some sections of the Spanish media but Mijatovic insists that the player will soon be back to his best.

“Raul will be back to his best soon. He has had a few problems but this game will allow him to find his rhythm again,” Mijatovic said.

“He will be back to doing what he did last year and scoring a lot of goals.”

Mijatovic believes it is important for Real to be in contention to win the Champions League this season.

“We have to have a good season in the Champions League,” he said.

“It would have been best for us if (Juventus) had drawn but we are excited about playing them.”
