Real Madrid have dismissed reports claiming that Michel Salgado would like a move to Juventus.

There has been speculation claiming Juventus have agreed a deal with Real to take Salgado on loan when the transfer window reopens in January.

But Real insist no talks have taken place, and that Salgado has not expressed a desire to move.

A statement on the club’s official website read: “Real Madrid and Michel Salgado deny that they have spoken about the move of this player to Juventus at the end of December.

“Despite the reports that have appeared in the English and Italian media, which include alleged declarations from the player about a loan move, we would like to make it clear that he made no such comments and the club is not considering loaning him to another team.”
