After watching his side go down to their first defeat of the season at the weekend, Real Sociedad coach Raynald Denoueix is confident his players will bounce back from the experience.

Previously undefeated Sociedad went down 3-0 to neigbours Atheltic Bilbao on Sunday, a result which saw their lead ta the top of la liga reduced to four points.

“Going so long unbeaten can sometimes be a burden on the players,” the French said afterwards.

“My first impressionon entering the changing room after the match was that this defeat will have a positive effect on the players and remind them that we can lose matches too.”

“We can learn from the mistakes we made in this match,” said Denoueix.

“We cannow make sure we look to improve in the rest of the league campaign.”

“As expected, it was a very hard-fought match,” said Denoueix.

“Although we had the control of the ball for much of the time it just wasn’t enough to allow us to maintain our record. Now we have to try and bounce back for the next match.”
