Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has announced that the club will unveil two or three new signings next week, but admits that Kaka will only be one of them if he asks Milan for a transfer.

Calderon insists that the Brazilian wants to move to Spain, but says that the player must initiate the move himself.

“Kaka will come if he does what he can and asks his club to leave,” Calderon told Marca.

The president then told AS: “He knows that we have been after him for two years and we know that he and his family would love to join us one day.”

Calderon remains confident that Arjen Robben will finally sign from Chelsea.

“Robben wants to come to Madrid and all the signs are that he will see his dream come true,” he continued in AS.

“He is a great player and when he comes here even the sceptics will have to admit that things are not that gloomy.”

Calderon has admitted that he is pursuing Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta.

“Iniesta is a player who interests us,” he told Marca.

“I can state that in the next few days we will be announcing two or three new signings,” he revealed to AS.

“The coach knows perfectly well that our plans are moving forward and all I can say is that Schuster will have the team that he wants to fight for trophies,” the president stated.

“He will be very satisfied with the squad with which he will have to work.

“People forget that we are the current league champions and that we have reduced the average age of this squad by five years already.

“Now the average age is 24 and we have nine players from the youth team. We are laying the foundations for a successful team for many years to come.

“People will be very excited by the time we have finished this plan.”
