Reggina have appointed Renzo Ulivieri as coach following the sacking of Massimo Ficcadenti.
Ficcadenti was fired after the 3-1 home defeat to Livorno on Wednesday.
Ulivieri has spent time with 18 different clubs over the last 31 years, most recently with Bologna. He will take charge of his first game on Sunday when Reggina travel to Napoli.
Reggina are currently bottom of Serie A with just five points from their opening 10 matches.
