After holding the mighty Chelsea to draw in the first leg, Wycombe will need another super-human effort if they want to make it the Carling Cup final.
Manchester City have agreed to release former United States midfielder Claudio Reyna from his contract.
The 33-year-old is expected to return to his homeland after three-and-a-half years at City.
Manager Stuart Pearce had hinted earlier this month that the player was considering making a return to the United States for personal reasons.
