Franck Ribery has reiterated his commitment to Bayern Munich after being again linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Ribery’s future had been the subject of speculation until he signed a new long-term deal with Bayern back in May.

Reports have resurfaced of possible interest from Real, and Ribery understands that the Spanish club’s coach, Jose Mourinho, remains an admirer of the French winger.

“Yes, (with Real Madrid it’s over),” Ribery told Kicker.

“I am very pleased to have signed with Bayern Munich until 2015.

“Munich has always been a great club for me, it’s like a family here.

“I know that Mr Mourinho likes me and appreciates the way I play, but what is important is that I was convinced the best thing to do was to extend (my contract).”
