Espanyol midfielder Albert Riera says he expects to receive an offer from an ‘important’ club in the next few days.
Riera has been linked with a move away from the club after an impressive season and Liverpool reportedly had an offer of €12million plus Argentine winger Sebastian Leto turned down last month.
Espanyol have insisted they will not sell Riera for less than €24million but reports in the Catalan press have suggested that Liverpool could be set to resurrect their interest.
“In a few days my agent will arrive in Barcelona with an offer from an important club,” he told the Spanish media.
