Chelsea winger Arjen Robben could be out for four weeks, according to his father.

The 21-year-old damaged his ankle during Holland’s 2-0 win over Romania on Saturday.

Hans Robben told De Telegraaf: “His ankle is very painful. It will take four weeks to heal – minimum.”

If the injury is as bad as first feared then Robben will miss both legs of Chelsea’s Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

“It is difficult to say how many weeks I will be out, but it is clear that it is not good,” Robben added.

“I am starting to get really angry about these injuries.”

Saturday’s game had been his first start after more than a month after he broke two bones in his foot during Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Blackburn.
