Arjen Robben is expected to be fit for Real Madrid’s next La Liga match.
The winger suffered an interrupted pre-season following a number of minor injury problems and he has yet to make his debut for Real after his summer transfer from Chelsea.
However, Robben has been told by Real doctors that he will be fit for a return to action after the international break and could make his first appearance in a Real shirt against Almeria on September 16.
“He has a high morale and desire to join his team-mates on the pitch,” a Real doctor told the Spanish media.
“Next week’s work will be key, but we are optimistic that sufficient time exists for the next Liga match.”
