Roberto Carlos has confirmed his desire to stay with Real Madrid, insisting that he would not be tempted by a move to Chelsea.
“Money is no longer the most important thing to me,” the Brazilian told the News of the World.
“I know about Chelsea’s offer but nothing will move me from here.
The dashing full-back also revealed that the arrival of David Beckham at the club, had improvedthe mood at the Bernabeu.
“I am enjoying playing alongside David Beckham, even though he hasn’t been here for long.
“He’s brought a lot to the team and he’s good for me.
“We fire off jokes at each other across the dressing room and even though he’s an international superstar he has been able to remain normal.”
