Manchester City forward Robinho is expected to be out of action for another three weeks as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old picked up a stress fracture while playing in his country’s 3-1 win over Argentina on 5 September.

“It is still in a pot, so he is not training, just doing work in the gym,” said City boss Mark Hughes.

“I would imagine it would be another two to three weeks.”
