Manchester United and Roma have both been fined by UEFA following crowd trouble in their Champions League quarter-final earlier this month.
UEFA’s control and disciplinary body fined Roma 75,000 Swiss francs and United 35,000 francs over the incident.
The UEFA statement also mentioned “general crowd disturbances” but did not specifically refer to clashes between Italian police and United fans.
United accused the police in Rome of handing out “indiscriminate beatings” to fans caught up in the trouble, although these claims were denied by Roma.
