Claudio Ranieri has reached agreement with Roma to become the new coach at Stadio Olimpico.
The Serie A outfit are looking for a new coach after previous incumbent Luciano Spalletti quit his post on Tuesday.
Former Chelsea and Juventus chief Ranieri was immediately installed as favourite for the job.
“An agreement has been reached,” said Grassani, Ranieri’s agent.
“Ranieri will sign a two-year contract with Roma tomorrow before being unveiled to the media.”
Ranieri started his playing career at Roma and is delighted to have been offered the chance to coach the club.
“This is a great satisfaction for me,” he said.
“This is a dream come true as I follow a professional journey that began many years ago.
“I am honoured and convinced I will be able to do and give the best for Roma.”
