With half of the Premier League campaign gone where have punters been squeezing the value from the bookies?

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has been involved in a car crash near Manchester airport, but was not injured, police have confirmed.

“Officers attended and discovered a Ferrari had collided with a barrier. No one is believed to have been injured,” said a statement by Greater Manchester Police.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that his team-mate Edwin van der Sar was following behind but was not involved in the crash.

Manchester United have confirmed that Ronaldo is fine and is training with the club.

The Portugal international played as a second-half substitute in United’s 1-0 defeat away to Derby County in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
