Real Madrid director of football Arrigo Sacchi has defended the performances of striker Ronaldo, after the Brazilian came on for criticism from secrtions of the Bernabeu crowd.
Despite he has scored 16 goals in just 29 starts this season, Ronaldo has come in for criticism for his lack of workrate.
”Ronaldo is a fundamental player for Real Madrid,” said Sacchi.
”He is necessary for our game and the coach always counts on his services.
”In the difficult moments, Ronaldo is a player that gives more than 100 percent.
”Any team in the world would want him. For me, that is in no doubt.
”Ronaldo is the best player in the world today. Not only in attack but any position.”
