Bayern Munich defender Willy Sagnol has been ruled out for four weeks after suffering an ankle injury.
The French international tore ligaments in his left ankle in a challenge with team-mate Michael Ballack during training on Sunday. The French international had only just returned to the Bayern lineup after suffering a series of muscular strains.
Meanwhile, Samuel Kuffour, Oliver Kahn, Zé Roberto and Martin Demichelis are all doubtful for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Ajax due to a flu bug sweeping the club.
