Muricy Ramalho has confirmed he will take charge of Santos until the end of the season.
The former Fluminense coach who won the title last term is ready to return to work after reaching an agreement with the board.
“I liked the attitude of the board who showed transparency, seriousness and good planning. That’s why we reached an agreement,” the 55-year-old told the club’s official website.
On Tuesday he told reporters that promising youngsters Ganso and Neymar were not for sale as he tries to deliver success this termseason
The two Brazilians have been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe including Inter, Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
But, his more pressing concerns task will be to get Santos back on track in the Copa Libertadores where they are currently third in Group five with just two points from three games.
