Javier Saviola insists he is happy to return to Barcelona during the transfer window.

The Argentinian, who is on loan at Monaco, has been linked with a return to Camp Nou to ease the Barcelona’s injury crisis.

Saviola admits he would be prepared to make the move back to Spain.

“There has been a lot of talk about my future, about me returning and I don’t believe there would major inconveniences in going back,” he said.

Speaking ahead of Monaco’s vital Champions League game against Deportivo La Coruna, Saviola added: “Although at the moment I’m thinking about Monaco as we have a decisive game against Depor.

“I’m playing more regularly than on other occasions, more than I did with Barcelona, and that is beneficial for any player.

“Things are going very well for me.”
