Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has admitted he is interested in signing Hamburg playmaker Rafael van der Vaart in the near future.
Schuster who believes the 24-year-old former Ajax player would be an excellent addition to his squad.
Schuster told Kicker: “He is a very interesting player who is on my list.
“We know all about Van der Vaart’s ability. The fact is, if we want Van der Vaart then we will get him,” he added in an interview with Hamburger Morgenpost.
Van der Vaart himself has expressed on a number of occasions his desire to play in Sapin.
