Villarreal midfielder Marcos Senna is playing down fresh speculation surrounding his future at the club.

The Spanish international has been linked with a move to the Premier League and was reportedly a target for Manchester United. Now, sources in England claim Senna could be offered a move in the summer, with Everton one of a number of clubs linked with the midfielder.

But, while Senna admits he is flattered by the speculation, he insists he has received no firm offers.

“I am ignoring the rumours that have spoken about offers from England,” Senna told skysports.com.

“I see that some papers have published news, but I have not spoken with any directors.

“These comments are always positive because it demonstrates that our work in this season is positive.”
