t’s been a topsy-turvy week of speculation surrounding who will be the next Newcastle boss, with former Chelsea player Didier Deschamps the new front runner.

Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic believes itis far too early to write off Arjen Robben’s career at the club.

The Dutch winger made a big-money move from Chelsea last summer but has only made five starts for Real.

However, Mijatovic maintains that Robben can still play a major role for the club.

“He is only 23 and he has a lot of quality,” he said.

“This is not something that doesn’t have a solution – we need him to relax a little, because it has not been easy mentally for him.

“It is too soon to say that we have made a mistake. We need more time. Robben will be very useful.”
