Wesley Sneijder is considering a move to Inter after the midfielder’s agent revealed Real Madrid have agreed a deal with the Italian champions.

Dutch international Sneijder has been tipped to leave Real over the summer following the Spanish giants’ extravagant spending spree to sign the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Karim Benzema.

Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill has hinted at an interest in the playmaker, but Inter have long been regarded as favourites to sign the former Ajax ace.

Inter now appear to have agreed a fee with Real, with reports putting the figure in the region of €18million.

Sneijder’s agent Soren Lerby has confirmed the player is now considering whether to move to Serie A.

“I have received a phone call from Real that a deal has been done,” Lerby told De Telegraaf.

“I have spoken to Wesley, but at the moment he doesn’t know what he wants. He will think about that now.

“If he is interested in a move, we will have a meeting and look if they can meet his demands.”
