Newcastle United’s Peruvian midfielder Nolberto Solano has confirmed that he has been approached by Aston Villa with a view to a transfer during the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old told Radio Programas del Peru: “I recognise the offer but the two clubs have to come to an agreement.
‘I want to continue in England and Aston Villa are one of the large clubs here.”
