Internazionale have agreed a deal to sign Santiago Solari from Real Madrid.

The Argentinian winger will sign a three-year contract when he returns from his holidays on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

At a cost of only €1m Inter have got themselves something of a bargain, due to the fact that Solari had a clause inserted in his Real contract, which enabled him to move on cheaply if he was not playing regularly.

There had been reports that Solari would be joined from Real by former Roma defender Walter Samuel, but that deal has broken down.
