The Spanish Football Federation’s (RFEF) bid to delay its elections has been rejected by a court, almost two weeks after FIFA threatened to suspend the country as a result of government interference.

The Spanish government has ordered all national sporting federations that failed to qualify for the Beijing Olympics to hold elections before the games commence in August.
